2009 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2009 Annual General Meeting of the Residents Association will take place on Wednesday, December 2nd at 7.30 p.m. in Room 4, at Glenalbyn.

COUNTY DEVELOPMENT PLAN

As members of the SDCRA, (Stillorgan District Community Residents Alliance) Stillorgan Wood Residents Association was represented as part of a delegation which met recently with Minister Eamon Ryan.

The main points made to the Minister were:-

• to seek withdrawal of recent motions to DLRCC to ensure the Local Area Plan agreed for Stillorgan remain in place in its entirety.

ROAD SWEEPING

Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council have advised that the roads in Stillorgan Wood will be swept on the first Tuesday of every second month, i.e. October, December etc.. The next scheduled sweeping will be on Tuesday 1 December Could residents please ensure that cars are not left parked on the roadside on that day.

TIDY DISTRICTS 2009 - RESULTS

Good news for the Stillorgan Wood Residents Association. At the Tidy Disticts Awards Ceremony on 17 September, we were awarded 2nd prize in our category. This was a good achievement and all the hard work done to keep the estate looking good proved worthwhile. We were "pipped" for first place again this year by Meadowbrook in Dundrum...
