TIDY DISTRICTS COMPETITION 2010
Once again the Stillorgan Wood Residents Association is entering the Tidy Districts Competition. Our last two entries (2008 and 2009) achieved 2nd prize. A huge effort is needed from all residents to enable us to win 1st prize in our category and we would be most grateful for your assistance in this. ROADSWEEPING ON TUESDAY
As you have probably noticed, our roads were not swept yesterday, 1st June, as scheduled. We have contacted the Council who assure us that the work will be done on Tuesday next, 8th June. As usual, we would ask residents not to park cars on the road on that day. Thanks to all for their cooperation in this matter.
OPEN HOUSE COFFEE MORNINGS
Following the success of the two previous coffee mornings held during the winter, the next event will be held on Friday, June 18th in the home of Anne Miller, No. 112. As before, all are very welcome to attend to catch up with old neighbours and to meet new neighbours. There is absolutely no charge for this event and we will be delighted to see you any time between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m....
ANNUAL BARBEQUE
We plan to hold our Annual Barbeque on Saturday, 26th June 2010. Last year's event was a great success and we will be in touch with residents shortly with more details of this year's barbeque.
