MIDSUMMER BARBEQUE 2011 REVIEW
Our Annual Barbeque was held as scheduled on 18 June. As the weather was good in the morning, a decision was made to go ahead and, thankfully, for at least 1 hour after the start time, the sun shone. Unfortunately, heavy rain then intervened. However, spirits weren't dampened and a fun time was had by all. About 50 people attended which, considering the weather, was excellent. It was great to see several new residents and their children joining in and making contact with other families with children of similar ages. Here's to an equally good time (and much better weather!) next year! Thanks very much to all who helped on the day with preparation, cooking and clearing up.
